Hound has been my flagship combat robot for 3 major revisions. Its innovative anti-gyro system allows it to drive unaffected by the terrifying weapon system spinning at 10,000 RPM

VEX IQ Pneumatics

I spearheaded this Addition to the VEX IQ education system, finding alternative uses for off-the-shelf components when needed and engineering parts from the ground up when commercial components were unavailable.

VEX IQ Pin Tool

As an intern, this was the first project I did nearly 100% of the design and CAD for. After 16 major revisions and tons of printed prototypes, this finger-saving invention that combined mechanisms from PEX Crimpers, Bolt cutters, and Collets from machinery hit the market with great success. this is likely the #1 sold SKU at vex robotics.

VEX IQ Retail Models

These models were designed and released on a one-year timeline, with up to 8 models being released in one year. I developed business cases, worked with the sales team, created 3d printed prototypes for trade shows, and worked directly with the factory. approving tooling, as well as the cost of individual parts at volume, reviewing drawings, checking Initial samples, and making decisions to accept or reject defects to meet project deadlines.
